Festival der Liebe

What is a festival of love? The funny title refers to a German Schlager from the 70ies. So does it mean free love? hippie way of life? marihuana? No! It is a 3 days lasting festival in Second Life with live music, art shows and author readings. The readings will be in German, music language is international and the language of art is global. Presenter is the literature group Brennende Buchstaben. I will take part with some art stuff, never shown so far neither in Second Life nor on Koinup nor on my blog. And it is not only one location which wants to be your landing point. Countless sims and gallerys and cafés are involved. So you have to hop from location to location. For further information join the inworld group BRENNENDE BUCHSTABEN or have a look on their blog.

Second Life Literary Foundation

The group Literary Foundation offers audio books in Seciond Life. You now can listen to books and don´t have to treat your eyes with notecards. My opinion: Good idea!

Asian art

Dixmix Source has catched Asian impressions with his camera and shows the photos at Studio 33. Have a look on his arty arranged pictures at Asia through the lens

a hard case of art

Hard Case is the English translation for Harter Fall and Harter Fall is an avatar in Second Life whose RL control module is an creator of virtual art in an 3D environment. Since 2007 Harter Fall enriches the SL world with art. Last night I visited his latest exhibition at Maximilian Merlin´s Orange 22. Complicated structures and colours alternate with simple sculptures with lower colour range. But some are playing tricks on you: Try to catch them optically!

Not enough hard case art? Then fly to  Harter Fall´s gallery at Donders:

summer slump

Summer slump is the translation for "Sommerloch". Funny expression in both languages. And theme of Daruma Boa´s exhibition. Her vernissage yesterday leaded the visitors through a collection of RL photos.

Very worth to be seen - Fleeting Captivities by Haveit Neox and Lilia Artis. Their maritime sculptures are impressing. They constructed underwater worlds with colour changing items. The vernissage was yesterday, too.
